Our Mission Statement

The Vermont Campaign for Health Care Security Education Fund is a broad-based, non-partisan organization committed to creating and supporting outreach initiatives that facilitate popular understanding of and expand accessibility to the Catamount Health Plan and other publicly funded state health insurance programs. The Vermont Campaign for Health Care Security Education Fund also educates Vermonters on the affordability crisis in health care, and on the benefits of making health care available and affordable to every citizen, eliminating barriers to care, ensuring the adequate funding and financial sustainability of Vermont’s health care system, and improving the safety and quality of care.

Our Vision

It is the goal of the staff and the board of directors of the Vermont Campaign for Health Care Security Education Fund that every Vermonter receives comprehensive and affordable health care. Our vision is that this will happen by creating a Catamount Health program that every Vermonter is immediately eligible to enroll in and that is affordable to all.
